A Royal Crown Derby tea strainer and milk pot set. Series name: Derby Posies Made in England from bone china, a milky white color achieved by mixing and firing bone ash. This color is no longer replicated in British brands like Wedgwood since they moved their manufacturing to Asia. When purchasing, I recommend choosing European-made items from over 20 years ago. The tea strainer was purchased new about 40 years ago and has been stored, almost unused (maybe used once or twice?). About 10 years ago, I was delighted to find items with the same pattern and purchased a vintage milk pot. This also appears to be unused, but there is slight wear on the gold trim of the spout (like a small scratch). Both items are glossy, without any cracks, and I believe they are in very good condition. I have taken many photos, so please refer to them to assess the condition.
