Red Rutile Quartz Origin: Brazil Approximately 14mm (length) x 12mm (width) Red Rutile Quartz is a color variation of the rutile quartz group, referring to those with red to reddish-brown hues. Those with a pure red color and high quality are rare due to their limited production. This piece has a beautiful reddish-brown rutile pattern, and the stone has a strong presence, with rainbows visible depending on the viewing angle. Sodalite A large stone, approximately 30mm (length) x 20mm (width). Since ancient times, sodalite was crushed and used as a pigment. It was also used in makeup for warding off evil, and sometimes used to draw protective amulets. The name of the stone comes from the fact that it contains a lot of sodium (Na), meaning "stone containing a lot of sodium (Soda=soda)" (lithos).
