It shows signs of use, but I think it's still a beautiful item that can be used for a long time. (There is some staining due to aging on the handles, white parts, and inside the bag.) There is also a spot of dirt on the surface of the bag, but it's not something that bothers me when I use it. (This is just my personal opinion...)
