This is a set of a boy's celebratory kimono (kakegi) and a long undergarment (nagajuban) for use in the Hatsumiyamairi (shrine visit for newborns) and Shichi-Go-San (a traditional rite of passage for children aged three, five, and seven). The embroidery is gorgeous and makes for a lovely celebratory garment. The shoulder and hem adjustments for Shichi-Go-San can be easily done by hand. The kimono is made of silk. The long undergarment is made of polyester. Size: Kimono - Sleeve Length: 57cm, Body Length: 101cm, 裄丈 (Yukitake - from center back neck to wrist): 46cm The long undergarment is the same size. This item has been stored for a long time, but it is in beautiful condition.
