This is a USAF M-1947 field parka. It's a 50's vintage item. It's said to be the prototype of the M-51 parka, and the mil-spec reads "OVERCOAT PARKA TYPE WITH PILE LINER". Originally, it came with a pile liner, but this one is just the shell. Many are missing the belt, but this one is fully included.
