The material itself is soft, but it's a bit rough, and I didn't use it much because I was too worried about friction with my clothes. The handles show signs of use (see photo 5), but it's on the inside, so it's not very noticeable. It comes with a shoulder strap, but I removed it and used it without, and I can't find it at the moment. Please understand that if I find it when shipping, I will include it.
