The texture and build somehow resemble Tenyo scissors, and the frequency of use seems relatively low, with the blades appearing to have plenty of volume remaining. The feel and sharpness are in excellent condition. For reference, it cuts tissue very sharply and well without snagging. I had them sharpened, so you should be able to use them immediately, but if you are particular about the sharpness, please sharpen and adjust them yourself before use.
