Old Fukagawa Seiji, a set of two rice bowls with lids. Likely from the Meiji to early Showa era. These are handmade and hand-painted, which is something only found in craft items nowadays. Currently, Fukagawa Seiji doesn't make hand-painted rice bowls, let alone handmade ones, making these very valuable. The brushwork is assured, and you can glimpse the skilled craftsmanship of the artisans of the time.
