Katsuyama Sakuma (1906-1998) was the fourth generation of the Matsuko kiln, a traditional tea ceramic kiln in Mie Prefecture. He produced a wide range of works, from Korean-style pieces like Ido to imitations of Ninsei, and was a highly skilled artist who created works of very high quality. His son is Hozan Sakuma.
