Boro 70s Boa French Double Canadian Coat Jacket Damage A Canadian coat from around the 1970s. Although it's a French item, "Canadian" refers to coats originally made for people in Canada who worked in the forestry industry. It was adopted by the French military and then sold to the public, becoming a common item in France. The overall faded look, fabric wear, damage, and well-worn texture. It's a boro piece, but it has an "overwhelming presence" (tsura-gamae) that new clothes can't replicate, created by decades of time. The button placement on the front and the reinforced leather on the pockets, etc., create a "heavy atmosphere" that is not found in modern times. I think it would look cool to either repair it and wear it, or to wear it as is with its boro aesthetic. The silhouette is also great!
