This is a book cover (cowhide) for a B6 softcover book. Size (when open): Approximately 20.8cm x 30.5cm The cover uses soft cowhide leather printed with an antique-style world map. The pocket on the back is made of sturdy, thin cowhide nubuck leather. The insertion opening is double-stitched for durability. From the time of purchase, the leather has small black spots on the back. They do not change with rubbing or wiping with water, and are believed to have been caused by a reaction with iron during the tanning process. They are not a powdery change like mold. There is no problem with use, but it is being sold at a discounted price due to this. How about it for home use? The photos show the cover with a thick book, 26mm thick, inserted. It's not tight, so there seems to be a little more room. As this is a handmade item, there may be some imperfections in the stitching and slight distortions.
