I haven't been able to confirm functionality as I don't have an environment to test it. The later model with the "ff" mark appears to have a better image quality version due to the addition of a noise filter compared to the later model without the "ff" mark. The image and sound quality are improved compared to the earlier model, and this is the "ff" mark version (further improved image quality) among the later models. This is a very old item, so please purchase it with the assumption that it may need repair. A Disk System game (The Legend of Zelda) also came out with it, so I'll include it as a bonus.
