This is a Carol Brass pocket trumpet in C, with a clear lacquer finish. This is a very rare C-bore pocket trumpet. While instruments made in Taiwan in recent years have improved in quality to the point where professional artists use them, Carol Brass pocket trumpets are of a higher quality that sets them apart from many other pocket trumpets on the market. Despite its cute appearance, the sound and playing feel are excellent, and because it's in C, you can play directly from piano sheet music, making it extremely convenient for pop music. There are signs of repair on the bell and leadpipe (photos 10 and 11), but otherwise it is relatively clean, and the pistons and slides move smoothly.
