14000→ This is a soba choko (small cup) with a dyed blue bird and willow design, made in Iyo Town, Ehime Prefecture around the late Edo period (18th century). It is slightly thicker than old Imari ware, and the foot is cut a little deeper. The same design is featured in a book published by the "Tobe" Iyo Ceramic Cooperative, which is a nice point as it allows for the identification of the production area. It's slightly oval, which actually made it easier to hold. There is a chip on the foot. The size is shown in image 1, with a mouth diameter of 7.4-7.8cm and a height of about 6.3cm.
