This is a ring with a ruby-like, purplish-red stone. I purchased it from an antique shop previously. I was told it's a French vintage piece from the 1960s. It has a filigree-like setting design, giving it a nostalgic impression. It would look great with Western clothes, and also with kimonos. It's also recommended for those who like the Showa retro or Taisho Roman aesthetic. The size is approximately 16.5mm inner diameter, which I believe is a size 11-12. Although it's difficult to see in the photos, there is a SILVER stamp (photo 3). The stone size is approximately 1.4cm x 1cm. The shop owner told me it was a ruby, but the material is not certain. (Personally, I suspect it might be synthetic spinel.) As it is a very old item, there are some minor scratches and stains. They don't detract from the design, so it shouldn't be a problem to wear, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
