This is an obiage (sash scarf) and obijime (sash cord) for Japanese traditional clothing. Both are made of silk. The obiage features patterns in shades of yamabuki (yellow-orange) with a textured design, as well as patterns in blue, green, red, orange, and silver. The obijime is yellow. I think these can be used widely with tsumugi (pongee) kimono, komon (small-patterned) kimono, iromuji (single-colored) kimono, tsukesage (semi-formal) kimono, and homongi (visiting) kimono.
