I purchased this last year from a used clothing store in Kanagawa for just over 40,000 yen. I bought it in almost deadstock condition and have worn it a few times. According to the owner of the used clothing store, it's almost certainly from the 1940s, based on the large collar, the way the shoulder seams slope, the single stitching on the shoulders, the collar stays, and the small size of the chest pocket. The remaining staples from what was likely the flasher, the luster, and the texture of the fabric suggest it's almost deadstock (probably around one wash). I think it will be fun to "grow" it, with the fading and wrinkles taking shape over time ^ ^ Please take a good look at the photos for the condition. There is some fading on the back.
