The item I am offering for sale is a Royal Copenhagen 2023 Year Plate, with the original box, accessories, and is new and unused. ~Year Plate~ Royal Copenhagen's year plates have been produced annually since the first edition was made in 1908, without missing a single year. The molds used to create the year plates are destroyed at the end of the year's production, so the same plate cannot be made after the following year. The only plates that exist are those released during the year of production. ~CHRISTMAS TIME IN THE FOREST~ The motif of the 2023 Royal Copenhagen Year Plate is "Christmas in the Forest." It depicts a common forest scene in Denmark, with tall trees surrounding a Viking-era mound. A little girl is taking care of a family of sheep, trying to bring them home. The 2023 plate was also designed by Allan Therkelsen. Size (approx. cm) Diameter 18.3 x Height 2.2 This is a new, unused item that I purchased as a spare and stored at home in its original box. I opened and inspected it for this listing. Although it is a personal inspection, it is a new and unused item, so it is, of course, in beautiful condition, just like new. The cobalt color has a medium shade, and the design is clearly visible, with a soft and textured finish that is characteristic of Copenhagen. (When purchasing handmade items, I carefully select items with a soft brushstroke from the painter, looking at the inventory as much as possible.) The original box is also in very beautiful condition.
