This is a gift received in commemoration of an award within the Imperial Family. (It wasn't awarded to me, but rather a gift I received.) Inside the vermilion dish, which is decorated with the chrysanthemum crest, are konpeito (sugar candy). As you can see in the image, only the box has been opened, and the paper wrapping the dish has not been opened, so the appearance of the dish is unknown. Please check the image for the expiration date of the konpeito.
