Buzz Rickson's G-1 Flight Jacket William Gibson Model WILLIAM GIBSON Size 40 This is a G-1 flight jacket model made with buffalo leather, of which there were few produced. It's all black, the William Gibson model. The leather feels soft, has a grain, and resembles goatskin. I own a variety of leather jackets, including a goatskin G-1, and the feel and thickness are similar to goatskin. Buffalo leather is characterized by its greater water resistance. The Conmar zipper has a problem. As the photos show, it can be zipped up. However, in some places, the teeth come apart, and as a result, you sometimes have to manually align them to unzip the jacket. Repair is necessary unless you plan to wear it open. Other than the zipper, the condition is very good, so please consider it if you are interested.
