I believe this is a rare, horizontal type. This is a horizontal sketch (for temple stamp collection) for the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage Nōkyō-jiku (scroll for collecting temple stamps). It features the Sanskrit characters and stamps of each temple, and can be used as a hanging scroll to collect temple stamps during the pilgrimage. It is unused and has not been stamped or mounted. It has been stored without being used, but there are some ink marks on the back, although they do not affect the front. Recommended for those commemorating their pilgrimage, or for those creating a new Nōkyō-jiku.
