This is a Kagura mask made about 30 years ago by my uncle, a relative, as a hobby. (Made of washi paper, layered about 10 sheets, and coated with persimmon tannin.) It has never been used, but has been displayed as interior decoration. It is an old mask, and there are some cracks, peeling, and stains. There is also some fading of color (gloss) due to aging.
