This is a Mebaru (Rockfish) bottom fishing rig. Although the packaging may be dirty, these are all unused items. The mid-winter target, Kasago (Scorpionfish) season is opening. Some have been used and are partially depleted. These are bait rigs for Isome (Japanese lugworm) and Ikanago (sand lance). The fine rigs work well for Mebaru, and when the current slowed, Kijihata (grouper) became easier to catch, so I would increase the line size because the fine rigs would get cut. I enjoyed this back-and-forth. I often used these on pleasure boats. There's a considerable amount, so you can even use them in areas where snagging is frequent. Comments are welcome.
