Neither book has any writing in it, but "Hajimeyou Gendaibun" (Let's Start Modern Japanese) is missing its cover and has a folded section (as shown in the second image). There may be other overlooked issues. Please understand this before purchasing. Also, feel free to ask any questions in the comments.
