This is an oil bottle purchased at an antique market. I liked the shimmering glaze on the surface, so I brought it home. It's difficult to see in the images, but it has a purple sheen. It shines very beautifully when light hits it. The shop owner said it was likely from the late Edo period to around the Meiji era, but it's not certain. There are fine cracks and chips.
