This control board for the MG3630 uses special software to reset the waste ink counter. The counter value is indicated by the green marker in the photo. We are offering this product "in the hope that it will be helpful to those who can replace it themselves!" The waste ink counter stores the waste ink limit as a percentage. There is no actual sensor in the waste ink pad. It keeps track of the count by predicting it from various operations. Therefore, even if you clean/replace the waste ink pad, it will not be reset. By resetting this counter with special software, the "waste ink limit error" will be reset and printing will be possible. Since we reset it, replacing this control board will reset the counter to "0%" and make it usable. We will enclose a memo with the general replacement procedure and precautions for those who purchase it. There are no particularly difficult settings after replacement. We will enclose a memo with search keywords for Wi-Fi re-setup (connection settings) and printer driver installation. We plan to ship via Yu-Packet Post Mini. Important Notes: Please refrain from purchasing if you fall under the following ① or ②. ① If you have forcibly removed the ink cartridges and the cartridge carriage (base) is tilted due to force applied to it, please refrain from purchasing. If the "waste ink limit error" is already displayed, the ink cartridges will not move even if you open the front cover, so you cannot remove the cartridges. *Do not forcibly remove them → If they are mechanically distorted, even if you replace this board and reset the error, it will lead to another trouble and become fatal. *Replacing this board will clear the waste ink limit error and allow you to remove them as usual. *"It's getting full. Soon..." allows you to remove them normally. However, you will soon be unable to remove them. ② There is a special connector on one of the connectors on the board. Forcibly pulling it out will break the connector and cause other problems. If you have already forcibly pulled it out, please refrain from purchasing.
