This is a hand-woven rug made in Anatolia, Turkey around 1950. The pile is well-preserved and made of lustrous wool. It's about 7-8mm thick, so it's not too thin or too thick, making it easy to use. As is common with old rugs, there's a slight indentation in the pile in one spot, but it's not very noticeable. Otherwise, it's in perfect condition. See the 9th photo. The color appears darker or lighter depending on the viewing angle, due to the direction of the pile. Please enjoy the variations. The condition is excellent and it has been cleaned.
