Richard Ginori Granduca candy box. I believe I purchased this in Italy about 35 years ago, but it has been stored in a living room cabinet for a long time, so I am offering it for sale. Granduca was conceived in the 18th century for the Austrian Queen Maria Theresa and was reproduced to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Ginori kiln opening. It is a lovely item with Japanese-style flowers and butterflies, and perhaps because it was purchased quite a while ago, it has a design that is no longer seen, so I think it is quite rare. There are no noticeable scratches or stains. The gold trim is also very clean without discoloration, but as it is an old item, please forgive any slight scratches due to storage and aging.
