Era Consideration: Aizome Kakiemon is characterized by its technique of removing ash and other impurities (furimono). This item has slight furimono on the surface and kiln marks on the reverse, indicating that it shares characteristics of both the Genroku Ko-Imari and Aizome, dating to the same period.
