This is a Namasu dish, likely from the old Imari period, with a charming simplicity and subdued color palette in its rustic painting. Some may call it a Namasu bowl or a small bowl. I've seen and collected many pieces of old Imari with various backstamps, but this particular backstamp is rare. I was drawn to its very simple, old Imari-like atmosphere, and I purchased it at a high price, keeping it carefully without using it. The condition is also very good, and I bought it with the description of being a complete piece. There are a few minor imperfections, such as a small scratch on the foot, a tiny kiln mark, and a slight paint chip on the rim, as shown in the last two photos. These might be noticeable to those unfamiliar with antiques, but there are no significant scratches or stains, and I have enjoyed its rare good condition and atmosphere. This is a special end-of-year offering, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about any aspect of antiques. I believe it is a masterpiece.
