Vincent Bach Stradivarius 42B Tenor Bass Trombone. I purchased this trombone over 40 years ago and used it during my student days. It has been in long-term storage. I no longer play, and I'm selling it as part of a decluttering effort during a thorough cleaning. The serial number is 35968. It appears to have been manufactured at the Elkhart factory around 1974-75. The slide and valve move normally, but it may need maintenance as it has been left unused for a long time. There is some wear on the plating on the handle, the part that touches the neck, and part of the bell. However, considering it has been stored for over 30 years, the bell still shines beautifully, and I think it's in good condition (please see the images for the condition of the exterior). I cleaned and dried the inside of the tubes with a neutral detergent before storing it, so I believe the inside is also clean. It will be shipped in the original hard case. The case is covered with a cloth cover, but it is dirty, so please discard it if you don't need it. I will ship it with the cloth cover on for protection. A Bach 6 1/2A and a YAMAHA 57 mouthpiece are also included. (I assume that those who purchase this will already have their own mouthpiece.) Please feel free to ask any questions you may have by commenting after looking at the images. Returns and claims are not accepted after purchase. Thank you.
