Deba knife, blade length 15.4cm, 213g. The spine is about 4.5mm thick near the top of the heel. The brand "Noushu Magoroku" is from Kabushiki-gaisha Satake Sangyo in Seki. There was some rust, so I polished it, and the material shines so well that it's definitely SK steel. SK steel is a general term for Steel Kougu (carbon tool steel), a hard material used for tools like saws, drills, and hammers. Like Kasumi knives, you need to be careful about rust. Knife oil is essential. I think the rust marks are mostly gone and it's clean now. The handle has been replaced with a new one, so it should last for a while.
