This is a reprint of Takeo Arishima's "The Agony of Being Born," a novel by the author who was active from the Meiji to the Taisho eras (published by the Museum of Modern Japanese Literature, Showa 45). The size (outer box) is 20.8cm tall x 14.2cm wide x 1.2cm thick (measured by myself), and it has a total of 193 pages. It faithfully reproduces the first edition and is uncut, allowing you to experience the feeling of cutting open the pages yourself, as was done at the time. It is an unused item, a set of the outer box and the book itself. Due to long-term home storage, the outer box shows signs of yellowing and wrinkles, and the glassine paper covering the book also has wrinkles. The inside of the book is in good condition.
