This is a flower vase that was purchased when my mother-in-law was still young and energetic. We visited Imbe (the home of Bizen ware) together and chatted with Mr. Toko Konishi at his kiln. We bought various items, and this small vase with its unique shape caught my eye. I was completely captivated by the shiso-colored kiln change... However, after marriage, transfers, moves, and childbirth, I completely forgot about it. It was only recently that I rediscovered it from the back of the closet. Now, I'm strangely drawn to the sesame glaze on the back... It's been on display on the shelf for a few days... I can't make progress with decluttering like this, so I've decided to list it.
