This is a famous Hofner 4/4 size violin making kit, VK-2. The top plate is curved and pre-cut, and the sides and neck are also partially processed. I purchased several of these through parallel import from a musical instrument wholesaler. Special tools and varnish are required for the actual work. You should be able to find reference books and videos, but I have unearthed the original manual and will include a copy. This is an old kit that is already out of production. I have taken care to store it in a manner similar to how a violin would be stored, but please consider the nature of the product before purchasing.
