I don't use this item on a daily basis, so it hasn't been used much. The exterior doesn't show much wear, but the bear medal has fine scratches. The interior, bottom, and sides have stains that look like pencil or art supplies. My daughter used this when she was in elementary school. It's a size that adults can also use.
