This is due to the rising cost of all our raw materials (reeds, rattan, hat wood, gas cylinders, and blueprints). We have made this difficult decision after careful consideration. In relation to Gagaku (Japanese Imperial Court Music), we are offering Hichiriki reeds, lacquered paulownia boxes for Hichiriki, lacquered Hichiriki tubes that can store the reeds while attached, and lacquered Ryuteki flutes. Everything is handmade by my father-in-law, so it may take some time to produce. We are a Gagaku family. My siblings-in-law and I play the Hichiriki, Sho, Koto, and Kakko. By chance, I practice the Ryuteki. My siblings and I sometimes perform together at funerals. I am selling these items on behalf of my father-in-law, who makes them by hand. Thank you for your support. ●About the Products● Basically, since these are handmade by my father-in-law, we inspect them before shipping. However, in the unlikely event of a defective product, please contact us before leaving a review. Also, regarding the sale of reeds, there are some reeds that are considered "B-grade" during production (they don't significantly affect playing, but have cosmetic imperfections). We may include one as a service when shipping, if available. ●About Shipping● Items shipped via standard mail will be sent directly from the post office. Please note that orders placed on holidays or before weekends may be delayed accordingly. We also plan to list other unwanted items in the future.
