This is an early work by Akira Kizuki. It deals with the painful adolescence of a time when the word "otaku" didn't have much of a positive image. It still feels raw even when re-reading it now. Volumes 1-3 were published by Penguin Shobo, but they went bankrupt in October 2005, so Volume 4 was published by Shogakukan. There is some yellowing due to age, but all volumes have obi strips.
