Tomi Hayahiko, the one and only "mountain poet" who spent approximately two years of the war in prison. This is a valuable shikishi (square cardboard) with a handwritten excerpt from the second part, "Mountain Hut," of his poetry collection "Kemono Michi" (Animal Path). It has some stains and tape marks from long-term home storage, but it is in a condition suitable for display.
