The color is black, but it has a lattice pattern like the PNS mechanism bib, which is a bit stylish. (lol) The pad is relatively thick, so your bottom won't hurt, but the fabric has rubbed a little when sitting on concrete. The hem is also slightly frayed, but I don't think it will be noticeable when worn. It's not as famous as Pas Normal Studios, but it's recommended for people who don't like to be seen wearing the same thing as others, or for those who are tired of Rapha.
