This is a katazome (stencil-dyed) artwork by Saminori Yunoki. Perhaps it's a memory of a place he visited on his travels. Puppet show? Elephant Armadillo? You can feel his sense of wonder at a culture not found in Japan. As this is an older piece, there is some damage, discoloration, and yellowing of the fabric. However, all are minor and will likely be unnoticeable once framed. There is no frame. Due to the size of the artwork, there is no suitable box for packaging. We will be using recycled cardboard pieced together for packaging, so please be aware that it may not look the best. We will waterproof the artwork to prevent damage and package it to maintain its shape.
