Hatsumi Takimoto, a 27-year-old who quit her job as a junior high school music teacher three years ago, now works part-time at a nearby soba noodle shop. One day, a letter arrives for her. It was written by her lover, who passed away in the spring three years ago, and was addressed to her. This letter triggers a change in Hatsumi's unchanging daily life. Aki Asakura, who voiced the protagonist in the Ghibli film "The Tale of the Princess Kaguya," plays the heroine, Hatsumi. Takahiro Miura plays Shikuma, a young man who is in love with Hatsumi.
