I am organizing my parents' home. I am listing a tea bowl, a Nagoya Tsurumai-Sanko tea bowl, that my father owned. The box is inscribed with "Commemorative Tea Bowl for the Shinzan Ceremony of Master Nanjo." I researched and found that he was affected by the Great Kanto Earthquake and was the first Kancho (chief priest) of Nikkoji Temple in Kakuozan, Nagoya, in March of Taisho 12 (1923).
