Outer diameter: 10.1cm Inner diameter: 9.5cm Height: 8.5cm Full capacity: 400ml (Please allow for some error) It's larger than a typical chawanmushi bowl. I think it can also be used for dishes like Odamaki-mushi (steamed noodles with vegetables and fish cake), small portions of noodle soup, soups, desserts, cafe au lait (the diameter is a bit large for a woman to hold with one hand), etc. The product description is based on my personal opinion.
