That's the deal. The 100% linen (hemp) fabric feels like jarring, jolting sarouel pants. But don't worry! It's fully lined. It feels like you're wearing a burlap sack! But thanks to the lining, it's mitigated. The drawcord holes at the waist and hem are prone to damage, aren't they? Especially the waist, I bet. The cords are short, so they easily retract and are difficult to pull out, and since there's no bar tacking, the holes get damaged quickly. I wore these for the first time in a while, went to W○RKMAN, and looked at Hi-End wearing these in the mirror, and thought, "I'm not feeling it anymore." So, I decided to let them go.
