This is Hagi-yaki (pottery) that my father, who lived in Hagi, handled about 45 years ago. As we are disposing of the family home, I have been keeping it, but I am offering it for sale in case someone would like to use it. The gentle colors of Hagi-yaki, including the beautiful pink, are present. Hagi-yaki is said to "change seven times." The color will change the more you use it, so I think you will enjoy it. The back of the sake cups are marked with the seal of Eizen. This is a set of 5 sake cups, which would be great for drinking sake or as interior decoration. The paper box has some scratches, but the writing on the front is still clear. The photos were taken by an amateur.
