The PBM Ortho Healing® is a light-accelerated orthodontic device that utilizes near-infrared energy and is designed based on the principle of photobiomodulation (PBM). This device stimulates the mitochondria of cells, promoting energy activation, thereby activating periodontal tissues and accelerating bone remodeling. It is said that this can shorten the duration of orthodontic treatment. The treatment period can be shortened to about half, and the usual 7-day aligner replacement period may be reduced to 3 days. It also alleviates inflammation and promotes tissue repair, reducing pain and discomfort during orthodontic treatment.
