I purchased this several years ago, but I've kept it in storage without using it. The color is a dark beige (close to light brown). The material is soft, so it feels smooth and pleasant. Because it's soft, there are a few places where threads seem to be snagged. I assume this was the case from the beginning since it's unused, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
