This is a Taylor 714ce V-Class, purchased new a few years ago directly from the Koueido Gakki store in Sapporo. I'm not actively trying to sell it, but I'm listing it for a limited time because there's some gear I'm currently interested in. If you've been looking for one, please consider it. The color is a Western Sunburst, which was an upcharge option. The top is solid Lutz spruce, a staple of high-end guitars, and the sides and back are solid rosewood. The sides and back also have a gloss finish, giving it a luxurious feel. I recall that the 7 series had a thinner finish than the 3 series, etc. I was so impressed by the sound when I plugged it into an amp at the store that I bought it on impulse. It's been kept indoors and hung on the wall, and I rarely play it. Therefore, there are no noticeable dings or paint chips, and I think it's in pretty good condition. I don't wear a belt, so there are no buckle scratches. (The strings are rusty, but I will ship it as is.) Taylor guitars, like others, have been increasing in price, and with the recent series restructuring, this specification is already discontinued. At current prices, I think it would be priced around 700,000 yen. The combination of Lutz spruce and rosewood is a particular favorite of Andy Powers, the current key figure at Taylor Guitars. It produces a Taylor-like, uniform, and delicate tone. When a professional musician who visited my home tried it out, they gave it their seal of approval, saying, "The tone is so good, you could record with it as is!" Koueido Gakki insists on putting a selection certification sticker on the back of the headstock, but I declined because I didn't want the sticker marks from sun exposure later on. The included guarantee has the Koueido Gakki imprint, so I think there's no problem. Please note that the one-year free adjustment service period that came with the new purchase has expired.
