This is a kogo (incense container) by Masayuki Imai, a celebrated author and recipient of the Order of Culture. It has a written inscription by the 15th Urasenke Grand Master, Hounsai, making it a highly valued tea utensil. The kiln name "Hozan-gama" (豊山窯) of Imai Masayuki was named by Hounsai, indicating a close relationship between the two. Unused. Please examine the images and purchase with your understanding.
